1. About these terms
By using gobusinessvaluation.com you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer form part of these terms.
2. What Go Business Valuation is
Go Business Valuation gives an indicative asking price range for a business in New Zealand or Australia, based on the asking prices of comparable businesses and the figures you enter. There is no sign-up and no account.
We are not a business broker, agent, valuer or adviser. We are not a party to any sale, we do not introduce buyers or sellers, and we take no commission on any sale.
3. Not advice, and not a valuation
Everything on the site is general information only. A range from Go Business Valuation is not a formal or registered valuation, not a sale price, and not financial, investment, legal, accounting or tax advice. See the Disclaimer. Seek independent professional advice before making any decision.
4. Accuracy
Ranges are built from asking prices, which are what sellers advertised rather than what buyers paid, and from the figures you give us. We measure and show how far our ranges typically are from real asking prices, but we do not warrant that any figure is accurate, complete or current, and the result can only be as good as the figures you enter.
5. Fees
Valuations are currently free. If we introduce a fee, the price will be shown before you pay, and what you pay for is the valuation result shown to you at that time.
6. What you give us
You keep ownership of the figures you enter. You give us the limited right to store and process them to produce your result, to show it back to you, and to measure and improve the service in aggregate. Only enter figures you are entitled to share.
7. Acceptable use
You agree to use the site lawfully and not to scrape, bulk-copy, resell or redistribute its results or charts; not to run automated requests against it; and not to probe, disrupt or attempt to bypass its security or usage limits.
8. Intellectual property
The Go Business Valuation name, the site design, the charts, the methods and the compilation of information are owned by us or our licensors. You may view and use your results for your own purposes, including sharing them with your adviser, but may not reproduce or redistribute the site's content otherwise without permission.
9. Availability and changes
The site is provided as is. We may change, suspend or withdraw features at any time, and we may update these terms from time to time; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its results. Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under the Fair Trading Act 1986 or the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand), or the Australian Consumer Law, that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
